LAND ROVER HOLDS DEFENDER CHARITY DRIVE TO BENUTAN, TUTONG

24 April 2022, Bandar Seri Begawan – Indera Motors Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor and retailer of Land Rover vehicles in Brunei, has partnered with Persatuan Kereta Tahan Lasak Brunei (PKTLB) for a second year to host a charity drive. A total of 50 participants and over 15 vehicles joined the ‘New Defender Ramadhan Charity Drive’ convoy to Kampong Benutan, Tutong held on Sunday, 24 April 2022. 20 underprivileged families in the remote area received food supplies and necessities.

During the trip, Land Rover trained technicians were on standby with Roadside Assistance Services in cases of motoring emergencies, inclusive of assistance for car breakdowns, flat tyres, lost or locked keys, flat battery, towing and accidents.

Indera Motors staff, owners and members of PKTLB travelled to the location with the powerful New Defender.

The charity drive concluded on a note of appreciation with participants gathering for sungkai, where General Manager of Indera Motors Alfred Yong presented participants with certificates.

The charity drive is part of Indera Motors' Corporate Social Responsibility mission, which seeks to make long-term, positive impacts to society by addressing issues important to its communities, such as improving the well-being of disadvantaged communities.
