26th April 2021, Bandar Seri Begawan – On 25th April 2021, Indera Motors Sdn Bhd teamed up with Persatuan Kereta Tahan Lasak Brunei (PKTLB) and Society for Community Outreach and Training (SCOT) to distribute food supply and school necessities to underprivileged families and students in the remote area of Mukim Sukang, Belait.

The Ramadhan donation was presented by General Manager Alfred Yong and Sales Manager Zen Thea to the president of PKLTB.

Indera Motors staff, alongside members of PKTLB and SCOT accessed the remote location of Sukang with the Defender and Discovery, two vehicles that are built for off-roading and traversing difficult terrains.

Indera Motor’s participation in the charity drive is part of their Corporate Social Responsibility mission, where it aims to deliver lasting, positive impacts for society by tackling issues pertinent to the communities in which it operates, including improving the wellbeing of disadvantaged communities.

For the residents of Sukang, the nearest sundry store takes 90 minutes for one-way travel. Moreover, the area is only accessible safely by a 4x4 vehicle.
