Kronberg, Germany – Thursday 9 February 2023: Defender has been voted best large SUV/off-road vehicle (imported) in the Auto Motor und Sport magazine Best Cars 2023 awards.
Readers of the influential German magazine chose Defender ahead of 38 other SUVs to win its category in the annual poll. Range Rover also did well, taking second place in the imported luxury SUV/off-road vehicle category.
Auto Motor und Sport is among the industry’s most respected and influential magazine. This was its 47th annual Best Car awards, with 101,550 people voting in 13 categories.
An award winner since its premiere, the reimagined Defender remains in great demand globally. It has grown into a family of incomparable, unstoppable vehicles with 21st century technology and unrivalled all-terrain capability.
