Bandar Seri Begawan, 8 April 2023 — Indera Motors, the sole distributor of Land Rover in Brunei, in partnership with Persatuan Kereta Tahan Lasak Brunei (PKTLB), has successfully delivered necessities to families and orphans in remote parts of Temburong for its Ramadhan Relief charity drive.

The trip, which took place on 8 April 2023, was led by Adibin Hj Musa, president of PKTLB. In total, 34 units of vehicles, including 18 units of the iconic Defender, were used to transport necessities to 16 families and 17 orphans living in Ulu Temburong.

This year's Ramadhan Relief drive marks Indera Motors' third Ramadhan Charity Trip featuring the Defender. As part of its corporate social responsibility mission, Indera Motors is committed to delivering positive impacts to society by addressing issues relevant to the communities in which it operates, such as improving the well-being of disadvantaged communities.

The drive concluded with an iftar event at Dewan RPN Kampong Rataie Temburong.

The dinner was attended by 17 orphans and 6 guardians, along with the Sales Manager of Indera Motors, Hairol Ajak. The event began with welcoming remarks by Hairol Ajak, followed by presentations of donations and, finally, the breaking of fast.

The Ramadhan Relief drive is just one of many initiatives that Indera Motors is involved in to support the Bruneian community. By working together with organizations like PKTLB and other non-profits, the company hopes to continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
